He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose
There are no great men, only great challenges that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.

Looks more like a P38 Holster to me.

3rd pic guy with rifle on hip looks like a 1903 sniper as I cannot see a front sight and the wood appears to rise up near the chamber perhaps an optical illusion but sure looks like it, I agree it looks like a P-38 holster.

Looks too short for a P38 I'm thinking PPK.

    I'm pretty sure that's a P38...

Hard to tell on the bolt rifle. Looks like the open top of a milled upper band, which means it isn't an 03A4. Maybe the front post is obscured by the movement blur and cammo pattern in the background. Difficult to see, so I won't bet my lunch money on it.

for all you guru's, because I don't know and you might.

Third picture down, the second soldier in from the right.

The LARGE buttstock hanging down. Is that just the camera angle, or is that a rifle I am not familiar with. Ca't be a Garandicon ...can it?

It's a Garandicon, the extra width is the sling. You can see a space between the stock and the sling.
Real men measure once and cut.
