    Authenticating No 32 Scope mount

I bought this repro bracket several years back and was told by the seller that it was made by Roger Payneicon. It seem to make since given that it's quality appeared much different than the CNC repro that I had seen and owned before. I have never confirmed this. Could Attachment 56733Attachment 56734 anyone here take a look at it and tell if this is one of his? If it is I would like to know when about it was made. Yes, & it's quite an old one - probably made about 15 years ago.

    Hope this helps.

I'm surprised to see it's marked N92. The one's I've had weren't marked like that.

I marked a few of the early ones many years ago with the N92 mark of Dalgleish, usually at the request of the purchaser, although I made it clear that I did not have stamps of the correct size & font as the originals. It did not last long & nearly all have gone out 'naked'.

I haven't forgotten that another forummer asked me if I could do a bit of a photo essay of what to look out for to distinguish my brackets from originals & some of the other repro's. I will do it - just haven't had time yet.
