This is a picture of what I did with my 35 Garand back in 2004. Had a shot out barrel rebored to .358 and it is one fine meat maker. 250 grain Hornady SP , on top of 52 grains of IMR 4064 in a resized LC case sparked by a CCI#34. Have taken 3 elk with it so far and they have all been one shot and drop kills. It makes a good varmint rifle too , turns them coyotes inside out.
