    steyer m95 unusual front band

hello guys have been off here for awhile ,but should be coming back a lot more ,anyway I have bought a steyer m95 "type " i'll word it front band . this has the stacking rod with slot ,rear of it is recessed with no punch stakes as is normal for these .the biggie is the stacking rod is on the RIGHT side ,not left holding firearm in normal handling position .the scre threads in on the right hand side ,not lesft as is currently the moss common . the bayonet lug is on the bottom ,not the side and the stacking rod is centered on right side ,unlike some other mannlicher types .anyone have an idea ,it does fir my 1917 steyer m95 with look to be Czechicon markings KK10 IN CIRCLE ETC . OK then .

many thanks if somebody has an idea on this .

Are you sure it is a Steyr M95 front band? If it secures on the right hand side (i.e. screw goes in from the right side and the head sticks out on the right side) it would have been a carbine band, but the even the later version with the stacking rod, the stacking rod was still on the left hand side. Pictures would really help determine what you have.
