Can't remember but there was a long thread about that same butt marking. A couple years ago, IIRC.

COUNTY of London should indicate its age if nothing else but definately RAF of some sort. There was a very profligate London County Council ages ago which was enlarged to make up the even more profligate GREATER London Council. Don't recall a thread on these markings though
