Have a chance to buy a Polish marked Berthier M16 rifle tomorrow for $300.........it's legit. Thoughts?

If it's a rough one, I'd pass. If it's a good one, I'd get it. Rough Berthiers are pretty cheap $100-$150. Polish marked makes it a bit more interesting but not a lot, these saw service in a lot of places.
