    C Tip sling question

    I thought C Tip carbine slings were only WW11. A guy has a C Tip with 1954 stamped on it, whats the deal?

    Was it MRT 1954? If so, then it was treated for MILDEW resistance in 54.....
    When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

    There is something stamper over 1954 but I cant make it out, Its not MRT. That was my first thought.
