Scope Mounting on a sporter with no rifle modifications.

I decided that since my eyes are no longer 25 years old, I need some optical help. I won't change anything on a collectors rifle, I must keep it original, so with that in mind I set out to build scope mounts that would use the original dovetails. I have not yet shot it but will as soon as I receive the case forming dies using the .375 Ruger basic brass. I will have brass available once I get the dies. I know of a machinist who will make the sight bases but he wants to make more than one at a time, so if you are interested please let me know.
