Nice SJ Stock In The Shop

Here is a nice SJ stock that needed some work. It had a heavy coat of varnish applied to it that needed to be removed. It also had some holes drilled into it that I plugged. After the varnish was removed you could see some nice stampings, including the CC. Two more rounds with RLO and it will be ready to go home.

    Best Regards.....Frank

Nice looking stock. I must ask. What do you think was the original reason those holes were drilled in the stock in the first place for?
