SMLE FTR markings

Just a quick question.

A mate of mine is looking at a supposed FTR '54 SMLE, its super dark black/blue with a very blonde stock, however the bolt is mismatched and there is no number on the nosecap, i dont know much about FTR rifles as they are not common in NZ,

Should there be matched numbers even if they are re-stamped on the bolt and nosecap, and rear sight leaf for that matter, on a 50's UK FTR SMLE?

I have owned 3 or 4 of the FTR 1953s & they were fully numbered & metal was painted black, i would expect the 54s to be the same but dont quote me on that
