I picked up a Sharps 1853 percussion copy by the Nepalese last weekend. I have been doing my research from the little bit available, and think this one is one of the later production Nepalese guns and not one of the earlier ones that is probably a scrubbed American Sharps gun. It is better made that some of the other Nepalese guns, but has the all around roughness of their domestic production. Also, it does not have the takedown lever of the earlier guns.
