Here's the bidder list of the first go round, that I've compared to some of this sellers other current listings, like a Never Issued IBM carbine. So many of the same names he looks to have a cult following or his own shill bidder roster.

high volume dealers who start at a penny seem to have a following of nimwit bidders--one has to know what you are bidding on--my grandpa told me the only thing you can buy at auction is at a price that was more than anyone else would bid, kind of a hollow ring there when you think about it

I still wonder if the Sling was 'Un-issued' and if so: How could that be ?

Un-issued/un-fired=not given to military after assembly/not fired since assembly. Who assembled it????????????????????

What I don't understand is how stampings that were applied AFTER the carbine was built ended up with parkerizing INSIDE the stampings? Same is true on the colt 1911. Makes you go Hmmmm???!
