    Cossack marked 91/38 carbine

I was in my LGS this morning, killing a little time, hoping maybe there might be an old milsurp I couldn't live without. I spotted what initially looked like a standard M38 Mosin carbine, almost didn't give it a second thought..but the blonde wood suggested 91/59. So I picked it up, and almost dropped it when I realized what it was.
A Czechicon rework 91/38 carbine that started life as a 1909 Izhevsk 'Cossack' rifle!
Definitely not one you run into everyday. Needless to say it came home with me.

Amazing find! Sure pays off to frequent the local haunts, as you never know what comes through the door on any given day. Well Done!
