    Huge mix of early and late war gear there. Buckle top boots and leggin's, 1907 sling and both flat slider and late slider slings...bino case plus nice brown gloves must be a Lt. Early M41 jacket and three M43 jackets...

    Can anyone make out what the three marks are on the first stock on the left? They look uniform enough to be something other than just scratches in my opinion.

    With enough searching I found a bigger pic, they LOOK to say "ABE"...

    Thanks BAR,every time I see a marked stock I'm wondering if it's in the barn wood collection haha. I also noticed he must cherish that rifle because he is the only soldier that has the buttstock off of the ground, he has his laid on his boot.

    That stock does look familiar - I looked at the Barn wood video but did not notice anything close - perhaps Rick Bicon or RCS will comment

    Had a garand rifle that came in for work with the letters ROI on it - maybe that is why it is familar
