    .22 MLM Mk1* conversion

A few pics of my LSA MLM MK.1* commercial rifle converted to 22.
The fore end fits the MLE profile barrel and handguard and has no cleaning rod groove so it is probably post 1899 replacement.
I added the magazine after purchase just for appearance.
I would be interested in what the CCC may stand for on the butt disc.

CLRL is probably City of London Rifle League and the Domine dirige nos motto of the Corporation of the City of London and the dragon crest supports this. The barrel was retailed by Tippins of Manningtree.

I'm Jealous, what a great looking rifle, coming originally from East London & in particular Old Ford Road, I collect Rifles by LSA

Looks like the Conversion was by Tippins (Luke Ricketts Tippins) of Mistley, next to Manningtree on the river Stour in Essex

Nice piece of history there, especially surrounding Mistley and Tippins.
