    Bob,
    It is a Gen. one with a 7 1/2 " barrel. [1874] civ. model, But, I do have a Custer era Colt artillery US marked, frame # 4939, and B/S # 4974 [1874] but I use the civ. one in pic's because of the 7 1/2 barrel, the Custer ere one is a 5 1/2 " barrel.
