George and Major General Walter Melville Robertson. As for the driver, I have a hard time believing this is Patton's regular driver. Francis 'Jeep' Sanza, General Patton's Driver During World War II was a motor pool/mechanic type. This guy has 2nd div id.

Walter Melville Robertson (June 15, 1888 – November 22, 1954) was an United States Army officer with the rank of Major General. He received the second highest military award, Distinguished Service Cross, for his leadership as the commander of the 2nd Infantry Division ("Indianhead") during the Battle of the Bulge.

And now some very personal trivia associated with George Patton.: My father was a kid from Tennessee who surprised everyone by shooting Sharpshooter, top of his class, with a Garand. He also graduated top of his class at Great Lakes Naval Induction center. Because of this, he carried his class' guidon at their graduation ceremony. The honored guest at that ceremony was old Blood and Guts Patton. As a result, my father received George Patton's salute, as pictured above. Fun connections.

Churchill wasn’t the only one having a Victory Whiz in Western Europe. General George S. Patton peed in the River Seine as he crossed it, and because he famously announced that he would pee in the Rhine, he made sure someone was there to take a photo.
