Hello everybody, thought I would show off this unique K98. Built in 41/42 to supplement rifle production, the German arsenal depots were ordered to make complete rifles from their parts stock. Made in Hannover it is XI marked on a bcd receiver. Only about 3-4 others that I know of from this depot, only this one is matching, down to the hand guard and has all of the "1" marks you would see on repair parts along with a "2" marked barrel. Someone shellacked the stock though, but at least it wasn't sanded and still has all its stamps. And the it hasn't hardley beem shot near as I can tell, beautiful bore and bolt face. Don't know if they will ever be worth as much but it isn't going anywhere for a long time.
