30-40 Krag brass is at Midway!

Heads up brethren of the Krag. Just got this notification from Midway. Hornady 30-40 Krag brass 50 round boxes are in stock!

Jump on this boys it never lasts long. I'd buy but I recently bought more than I'll ever get a chance to load on a trip out of state. Good Luck.

Days gone by, I would buy all the 30-40 brass a gunshow would yield before the doors opened at what the seller was asking. Hard enough to find back ten or twenty years let alone now.

Jim there had been a run of 30-40 ammo by both Remington and Hornady around early spring and I grabbed some of both, basically whatever I could carry. It's been since early 2022 that Hornady has had a run of just the brass. I wish I waited though because my handloads have proven to be more accurate than the factory ammo. Who knew?

ETA: Just checked the Midway site and it shows sold out.
I hope whoever was looking for some got a hold of it.

LG ammo had much new winchester 30-40 brass, qty100 bags, very cheap the year before the pandemic. I think I bought 10 bags of it. Have to look at my notebook but I think I paid ~$30 a bag back then. I'm on my 12th or so reloading of the first bag. The trick is to use mild loads, and to anneal each time.
I was told somewhere, maybe on here, that Winchester makes a run of these about once a decade, and the same for other now "odd" calibers.
