Nice acquisitions! And I feel ya! Lately I'm a slave to the Crackberry and busy like mad rebuilding my lathe. Takes away oodles of "online time" to live life

It feels good to have a little breathing room again, I'm finishing up a tack driving light weight for a fellow in the next town, I'm chambering it into .260. I tried to talk him into 6.5X55 but he wouldn't budge.
Claven2 I hear you load about your lathe, I spent over twenty hours on it getting the run-out to within +/- 0.0005 at the tail stock. I want to minimize the use of floating reamer holders for cutting chambers (I just don't trust them). The lathe is an old school Leblond 17" swing, 5' centers with a 1.75 spindle. Even though its old man, when you get it all set up, its a great runner. My next project is re-working the mill, its been about ten years and I'm getting afraid to put an indicator on it.
Glad to be back talking with folks who know what the score is and how to get it. Badger you've been putting up some top shelf stuff, its nice to have a visual bench mark to collect with, many thanks!SDH
