A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. The title of this thread doesn't accurately reflect the true nature of the rifle, but it's a bit late to change it now!

If any more photos are desired, please let me know. A range trip has yet to happen with this rifle, but the shoulder is recovering and the temperatures seem to be moderating a bit, so maybe it won't be too long. Have several Mausers to wring out, along with some other gear, but this time of year traditionally seems to be geared more towards handgun shooting than rifle for our bunch.
