I think it is a CN07 .22 chest,not a sniper chest.

That's probably why the CNo.7 Mk1 is scratched off, on the left side, front.

Also extra wooden paddle protectors around the thumb lock on the bottom half which never featured in the 4T cases (Bren) which also had leather handles not webbing straps. Worth £100 IMHO

I saw one of those at a gun show that was advertised as a sniper rifle chest. I casually mentioned that the sniper chest was a bit deeper so it wasn't a sniper rifle chest. He replied '.....well it will be if you put a sniper rifle inside it..........! Well, he's got a point I suppose.
