I question what kind of life some of those folks must have if they can average 10+ posts per day over three months in some sort of hodgepodge political/gun rights board.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. True enough, with the exception of mods who have to make announcement posts, edit MKLicon entries, etc. if you rack up hundreds of posts on this forum, then that is really representative of some serious technical and historical gun discussion

I've noticed some of the other forums with political discussion seem to feature the same guys spouting off about politics in a pretty heated manner.
The funny thing is they all AGREE with each other!
Woebetide the individual who happens to put forth a contrary argument.
    It ain't pretty.

Good point MIke! I will not allow myself to get into any type of political discussion (any topic) at my range. This is quite easy as most who wish to engage in this sort of stuff are almost always squirreled away in the range house, ready to pounce on those poor souls who open their mouths.

I agree with Mike. Try attempting to mildly contradict or point out a fact differing from the "consensus" on one of the other firearms-related sites and you will see why this site is a refreshing change.
