Enfield Model 1882 Mark 1 in .476 cal - $2,250 U.S. (click here)

Seller's Description:
This is the original Enfield Model 1882 Mark 1 in .476 cal. This unusual design was a top break action. It pulled the Cylinder forward, and extracted the empty shells, leaving unfired shells in the revolver. It was then reloaded from the loading gate easily allowing officers to reload fully, and quickly, during a lull in a battle.

These revolvers besides being used by the Britishicon, were issued in quantities to the Canadianicon Royal Northwest Mounted Police !

This Revolver was The Exact Example owned and illustrated by Boothroid in his Classic book "The Handgun" !

Pistol is in EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION, and fine condition overall. It has at least 60% of its original blue finish, and Very fine Original one piece wrap around Wood Checked grips.

This Revolver is much RARER than the 1884 Enfield which quickly replaced it. This is a must for any British, or Canadian Military or Police collection ! NO FFL Needed, but proof of age of at least 21 a must ! Shipping $20 USAicon.

I will be at the Louisville Gun Day Show with a large collection of Webleys, some flareguns, lugers, and other pistols and revolvers. The Webleys are from a brand new collection put together in the '50's and 60's. There are also a few military rifles.

NO IMPORT MARKS !, MANY EXCELLENT TO MINT ! They haven't seen the light of day since the 1970's. I am packing now to leave in the morning for Louisville Gun Day Show, and will be at Max the following week.
