Hey everyone, I am currently working on my collection of WWII firearms and completing acquiring the accessories including bayonets for each of my firearms. I have two enfields: a 1921 LithgowNo.1 MkIII, and a 1947 Faz No.5 MkI Jungle Carbine, both of which are in very good condition. Where these rifles issued with bayonets from the same manufacturer or will any company with the right type bayonet do? I know the market is flooded with repro enfield bayonets, any tips of spotting a genuine from a repro? Any other information about these bayonets I should know, I'm looking for a No.5 bayonet and a P1907 bayonet? Thanks for your time everyone.
P.S. The Jungle Carbine has a lacquered finish that is light in color, I do not think this is the original finish? What is the correct color and finish of a No.5 Mk1 as issued at the end of WWII.Information
