I have enjoyed converting these Italianicon black powder revolvers to use cartridges. These revolvers were found incomplete at gun shows. Now building a collection. The 1851 Colt conversion (38 cal) has an excellent balance and nice to shoot. The 1861 conversion is not quite the same as the 1851 in balance ( the barrels are too long)
