Amen Peter - it's the tax that makes our fuel expensive. I don't know what percentage of it but it is criminal how they steal money from us and blame it on the oil companies. Good grief - and to think we fought due to taxation without representation and now it's worse WITH representation!

I do wish I had the money to but that Jungle Carbine. It's near perfect but I just can't squeeze it out.

On the reloading issue - with pulled military bullets (Russianicon 7.62X54R) and surplus powder (Russian 4895 military) I can load pretty cheaply. Perhaps not as cheap as buying the 39 here but I'm not a plinker. I got used to accuracy and have not been able to shed that mantle. And I also have a progressive reloader, years of competition handgun shooting (400 or so rounds per week), makes it fairly cheap and painless.

The magazine could be done by changing the second mags relative angle to the first. And maybe even rolling the back strap a bit as part of it. I've never seen a Bren mag, except in movies, so the LE one would be much cheaper for me. Usually free from friends.

Bottom line I think I am going to have to figure out how to get that Carbine - - it's starting to grow on me!!
