Hey all,
About 7 months ago I picked up an unissued 1950 Longbranch in unissued very "minty" condition. Since then it has been a safe queen, only taken out on occasion to admire. The previous owner did fire it so this is why I describe it as "minty" and not mint but it is in almost flawless shape, I have a couple photo's to give you an idea.
The 1950 is the one with the grooved upper hand guard, sorry the pictures dont capture the details very well but you get the idea.
My delima is that I have shooter grade No.4's that I frequently use and perhaps I am being a bit impulsive in wanting to shoot this one. I am 21 now and have only been at this milsurp game for a year now, so my point being I still have plenty of time to aquire and shoot these wonderful peices.
So what would you do? shoot and enjoy? or preserve and let appreciate?Information
