The seller was apparently banned on the CMPcarbine forum after the debacle with the initial post. While I am not personally a fan of "restoring" them, I do understand the rational, as long as the restorer is honest about it. I personally prefer them "as issued" with upgrades (like my Standard Products), myself (though I would be hard pressed to part with my original, as issued 1943 Inland!) I did have a CMP Saginaw barreled receiver that I partially restored to appearance, but used repop type I rear sight and barrel band. It was a nice weapon with all Inland and Saginaw parts with the exception of the sight and barrel band. I auctioned it with full disclosure on GB and still got $800 or $900, IIRC, even with the repro parts clear stated and photographed. Disclosure is the key.
