Picked up a Finn 'capture' 1938 Tula 91/30 this weekend. It has the Finn stacked front sight. Two things got my attention about this rifle. One, the bolt is blued. After a little research, I discovered the Finns did this to a few 91/30s, then apparently abandoned the practice. Two, the stock is spliced. Rear portion is Tula stock, front portion seems lighter. Finn manufacture? Ive seen plenty of spliced Finn stocks, but can't ever remember seeing actual Russianstocks assembled this way. Anyone else out there have a Finn 91/30 with blued bolt and spliced Russian stock? Just wondered how common these traits were.
