Just bought a ROF (F) No.5 Mk.1 10/46 Ser.# X8XXX
Rifle is in beautiful shape, almost excellent I would say. All matching #`s on forend, mag.,
bolt & receiver. Crown over BNP on left side of barrel with tons info etc. & on left side of receiver back of the top handguard. `England` and broad arrow on left wrist.
Marked with `F` on all parts, except??
The front sight blade is marked `F` broad arrow .045, but the flash-hider is marked M47C.
Absolutely everything else is `F` Fazakerley marked.
Why would this rifle have a BSA flash-hider installed?
Would she be a rebuild or FTR? `not marked FTR anywhere`
Would a previous owner have installed it?
Your help please!!Information
