    1918 No1 Mk3 G.R. ESSEX stamp

Another Enfield has found a good home. Sporterized stock,No Bolt and no magazine.Bore was clear and looked decent to my eye. $25 dollars. I Stripped it,used all the Q tips for miles around.
The reason I grabbed it is that it may have some regimental marks (ESSEX) or would this be a stamp for something else ?

    SN#68880 12/30 FTR 1953 No1 Mk3*

Now I have 3 on the go for restore and finding it very hard to pass up even the ones that should be left. I feel like the cat lady.
