Guys,

I purchased a M91/30 Mosin from Classic. I ordered a HEX with a laminated stock, but receive a HEX with a standard stock. I have spoken to Classic and they said just return it and they will replace it with the correct rifle.

Here's the question, I received a 1934 HEX from what appears to be from Izhevsk with a standard pre-war stock with the serial number 460 on the bolt, butt plate, magazine, and barrel.

The barrel and tang, even though it is very hard to see from the photos has a 1934 date. Should I keep the rifle with this low (I think) serial number as a nice HEX from 1934, or just return it for the laminated HEX?

Please see the photos and let me know your thoughts, good bad, on indifferent.

If you need another photo of a specific part or more information please fill free to ask.

Thanks in advance for your help,

320th
