    WWII Savage 720

I thought I'd share this WWII Savage 720 that I picked up for VERY cheap a while ago. Not a riot or trench gun, but US military issue nonetheless. it has a full length cylinder bored barrel.

I surmise that is was used either for aerial gunnery training or perhaps for clay pigeon shooting by officers. It is in pretty good shape for it's age with some freckling on the bluing on the receiver and barrel. I know it's not worth a ton of money, but I find it to be interesting.
