    '44 Izhevsk PU

I thought today I would share with you my PU sniper. Purchased it from RGUNS a few months ago and was very pleased. It's all matching and there is not an ounce of electo-pencil, even on the scope mount. All the serials seem to be the original to gun, the 3s are a big giveaway. The scope was refurbished in 53 and the scope number is scratched out. After doing some research on why the scope number is scratched out the opinions I received were that the rifle was mostly likely a police issue after the war and a light refurbishment and for some reason they needed a new scope so the number was just scratched out since it didn't match the rifle. I've been told that the scope would have been force-matched on the mount and barrel shank if an arsenal had done that. This is all just speculation so I'm always open to other opinions. Anyways, the rifle shoots amazing and it was worth paying RGUNS prices to get one that I knew was the "real deal". Thanks for reading!

P.S. Yes the scope is titled to the right haha. That's just how it came.
