    Jonh172. The magazine was fitted to the rifle properly and tested and then numbered to the rifle where it stayed. They are not made to be interchangeable they are a one-man-dog. And so far as Armourers were concerned, the magazine off the shelf that was accurately fitted and numbered to your rifle was the correct one. We didn't worry about who made it or which Country it came from or whether it was new, used or refurbished - and nor should you or anyone else!
