Had this since last year & thought I would share a couple of pics its a M19 90mm 1943 shell case.
Its is probably to hard to ascertain whether it was from a tank (Pershing) though I heard a whisper they fitted a Pershing turret to an M-4 with the 90mm any truth in that one!
About the only thing that is a little off putting the chap I brought this & other pieces from liked them all shiny and bright.
For a collector like me nothing is further from the truth their patina is part of their history but sooo many people just like to polish it away which I feel detracts from it.
And as 90mm WWII cases are not that plentiful down here I brought that a 20Pdr complete smoke shell round from a Centurion plus complete brass cased Aden round from him.
