Looking at a 1943 Springfield model M1 Garand - Any thoughts

I know I just bought one, but I've wanted a 1943 Springfield and found this one and would like to get the forum's thoughts on this and what might be a reasonable offer to make on it.

Serial number shows it's October 1943 and the barrel is marked 3-S-A-9-43 the bore is good and shiny, and good rifling. Has the correct SA GAW, crossed cannons next to it, and the smaller on the grip bottom.
