I have a question I'd like to have cleared up about a bayonet I purchased a few months back. It is, as stated in the title a 1914 P'07 bayonet made at Lithgowicon, that somehow ended up in Turkishicon hands and was converted for use on their mausers. I've heard varying stories on how the Turkish got their hands on the bayonets from capturing them at the siege of Kut and Gallipoli, to buying them postwar. What is the general consensus on that? Would post pictures but not sure how to from my phone.
