    Winchester Model 62A

This is a little out of my area of expertise and interest, but it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up.

I'm a remodeling contractor and sometimes I find things where I'm working and conversations get started. I found this maybe six months ago and talked about it with the owners very briefly. He had gotten it from a neighbor many years ago and never did anything with it.

I'm doing some work there again and they asked if I knew anything about it, I didn't, but I got a ballpark figure from Mike and offered my services in this amount in exchange for it. I'm just intrigued that it has the original box, etc. Is in excellent shape although I did notice some stock blemishes after getting it home today, so it isn't mint. That's lint and fuzz on the metal, the metal is probably 100% except on the moving parts where there is some obvious wear.

Still not sure what I'm going to do with it but I'm going to at least hold onto it for now.

Came with maybe ten old boxes of Remington and Winchester ammo. Didn't look closely at that but the one box I did open has the white fuzzy stuff on the lead. So not sure if it's any good or not.
