Restored my LE No.4 MkI* Savage

    Hi,

Now i am ready with my restored LE. Its a No4 MkI* from 1942 made by Savage, only 2 parts didn`t match. The rearsight and the buttplate. I`ve done a gentle restoring job because of the rifles history. It was built in the States as a landlease for Canadaicon and served at the European theatre till the end and changed to the Pacific War. Then in the 70`s it was sold to Germanyicon and know it is my one since two years. I like her because of the dark wood and the grain of the wood on the forestock, the Ishy screw and she`s a good shooter.

    Regards

    Gunner
