You are 100% correct. For someone that knows the pistols, they can completely disregard everything the seller says and rely on what they see. I have seen sellers say the most ridiculous things...

As you have said , correct and original is not the same thing. I don;t doubt that there are some people that are bidding on this auction thinking it is "Correct" when it's not and some people that are bidding, thinking they can put a correct barrel and mag in the pistol,even though it wouldn't be original to the pistol..

For my first military pistol, I hope that I end up with Correct and Original.
