    reproduction Long Lee clearing rods

Here are my two CLLE's with the two clearing rods that I had a man make for me. I know that all MLE Mk I's had their clearing rods removed after May of 1899, long before some were later converted to CLLE's, but I just didn't like the empty rod channels and so I made some inquiries and found an excellent source for new made rods. These that are in my rifles were originaly made & shipped with a slightly different but authentic design of grooves on the head, but I chose to alter mine to look like what you see here which is a common pattern often seen on Magazine Lee Enfield Mk I's that are fortunate to still retain their rods. The gentleman also makes a perfect copy of a Mk II brass oiler as well. His name is Neil if anyone is interested in getting ahold of him for inquiries. Neil is a very interesting and talented machinist who kinows his subject. Just PM me and I'll give you his email.
