I have read that Toyo Kogyo arsenal used assembly numbers on the bolts but have seen other post here of a series 32 with all matching numbers. Which is correct? Does anyone know mfg. date s/n 973XX?
Matching by assembly number was discontinued during the early part of 30th series production. A 32nd series should be matched by serial number.

973xx is late in 32nd series production, so that would have been made in the last months of 1943.
