    Hello, new member here

    Hello all,

I've lurked here for a bit and have finally decided to post. As far as rifles I have:

    Savage No4 Mk 1 scopeless "T" which now has a No32 Mk3 on it
    Enfield No4 Mk1
    1903A3 Remington
    1903A4 Remington clone
    numerous others.

Best day of aquiring firearms: the day I received my Savage scopeless T

Worst day; not buying a No5 "Jungle carbine" for $100 at a local pawn shop

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Another new guy here. I've got a bubbaed P14 and a #4 Mk1 that I'm looking to return to an unembarrased state.

(In this case I wasn't Bubba)

Hello from the North Shore of Lake Erie. I'm also on CGN. I've started saving old rifles and stuff back when I was 15 years old. Walked into John's Surplus in Pembroke, picked a "303" out of the barrel, handed over $25.oo(John through in a 50 round box of surplus ammo) and walked out the door...my how things have changed.

Hello all, another FNG !. I am retired after 25 yrs as a motor officer in the desert of the southwest and have decided to attempt a new life in gunsmithing and collecting of a few mil-surp rifles. I have started a Mosin Nagant collection, 6 so far, and they seem to multiple like rabits in the safe and have just bought 2 original 1853P Enfields that came from Nepal in uncleaned, unrestored condition. I have a SMLE 2a1 enroute as well and hope to learn much from everyone here on all I am gathering.
    thanks for letting me in.

    New here

I am new here, based in Quebec, I am collecting firearms since a little over 20 years, got lots of Mausers, SKS, Lee-Enfield, Ross. A bit of handguns (made in or used by Canadaicon only). Right now I am mostly collecting civilian (not sporterized mils) Mausers, older Lee-Enfield (WWI, LB's) and Ross but I am still quite active in the rest of the military stuff, if not for my personal collection for others.
