A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Personally I would prefer to deal with a member. If the shipping works out, there are a number of rear sights on eBay and gunbroker.com right now as well.

In the US, parts other than the receiver and in some municipalities the magazines, there are few restrictions. In Australiaicon?

Thanks to all. I have managed to track down the sights and boss. A local (well as local as I can find) has the know how and will be plugging the holes in the reciever. I will if i remember get some happy snaps of the restoration.. but think it is a simple process compared to some of the ones Ive seen on here.
