Cool ITS ME, a new member!!

Hi, I'm here from CGN and decided to join.
My very first Milsurp experience was in the Air Cadets. I so distinctly remember shooting the Lee-Enfield mk 111, at Long Branch ranges for the first time at age 14. I also remember the long TTC street car ride home on King Street with my ears ringing!!!! (lasted for two days!) Recoil was stout as I kept getting driven back down the butts lying on a ground sheet. Oh what fun!! I've been around a few years now and am a retired farmer/consulting engineer, and never quite good at each occupation. I hunt, reload, collect, repair and "bubba" 98's to my hearts content, After all they made about 11 million of 'em. I also restored some Krags ang 1909's and at one time had three Mannlicher-schoenauers (sold them all,why I don't know) Well I'm now going to explore this here site and see what's up

Hi y'all! New member here, but started shooting in 1937, reloading in 1948. I don't count myself a collector, but am very interested in military arms. I presently have an M1icon, L/E #5, and a 1911. And 'others'. Had a lot of Mausers but sold that collection. Hi y'all, I came across this forum via a link from the Lee Enfield Forum and it looks very interesting. I collected Mil-Surp for quite a while but became really interested in competitive shooting so sold all my mil-surps to equip myself for more serious shooting. Last year I came across a ratty looking P-14 for $35 and couldn't turn it down. It turned out to be a real shooter! Our club started to have military shoots (pre-1946) soon after. Last fall I picked up a much nicer (also sporter) P-14 for $80 and picked it up also. Last month a member of our club died and I bought 2 No.4 Mk I Enfields form his estate. A fer weeks ago I bought a No. 1 Mk III at a gun show for $200. I'm afraid I'm hooked again. It's an addiction I just can't seem to shake. My main problem is cash defeciency. If I want more guns, I usually have to sell something else, which is why I sold my former collection. There are certainly a few of them I would like to have back.

Hi, new here. I'm an enthusiast and beginning collector. Not much Milsurp-wise. Just getting started out with an SVT-40, and looking to learn as much as I can about it.

I'm also looking to pick up a dewatted AK for some familiarization practise.

Lee Enfield Rifles or any Lee Rifles and FNC1

    Hi all,

I am new to this site.

I am Ex-Military and am looking to buy Lee Enfield or any Lee Rifles. I am also looking for a deactivated FNC1 to buy just for nostalgia. Does anyone have any idea where I can find these?

Gerry, you said you might be looking for some cash??? I would love one of those Lee Enfields...

My husband is James Paris Lee IV...there are only 3 of the Rifles in our Family and the one that was supposed to be passed down to him...we'll just say it was swiped

I would love to surprise hubby for Father's Day.

    Hi

Just wanted to say "Hello" and "Thanks" to the organizers and members of this forum. My Dad was the shooting enthusiast in the family and when he passed away 18 years ago I inherited some rifles and a shotgun or two that have been sitting in a gun locker in my basement since then. I recently join a club to be able to take my son to the range and teach him to shoot, and I ran across some information about a "Milshoot". Sounded like fun and making a long story short, I now have a LB Lee-Enfield No4 Mark 1* disassembled in my basement that I am looking forward to cleaning and shooting. (I'll hold off on the Milshoots until I've had a chance to get some practice)

The things I have learned on this site have already saved me a bunch of grief and time and I'm sure I will learn much more as time permits. Too bad my Dad didn't live long enough to see the real value of the world wide web - he'd have loved this place!
