I'm new to the forum, and fairly new to milsurps. For now I've got a 91/30 and a T53 carbine. I'm only 24 though, so I've got plenty of time for my collection to grow!

Well here it is, a beautiful early fall day and here I am doing nothing productive like working in the yard, painting on the house, working on my TC or similar valuable projects.
I suspect that unlike most of you I am late to the interest in older military firearms and missed the glory days of $25.00 m1 carbines and $10.00 K98 Mausers so it is my desire to learn much from you all for this later obsession.
I came to this site from Gunboards forum in response to my interest particularly in the Ross rifles used in the first act of the world war. I do have a couple of shootable Rosses and one Ross II hanger queen. The Ross is not my only interest which really started out on the rifles of the aformentioned act one of the world war (otherwise known an WW1).
So for whoever set this site up my thanks and I look forward to many conversations with you.

New member post.
Hello everyone. Joined recently to obtain information on various guns. In particular the Bren and the Mg-42. I have been an avid shooter, reloader, and semi-builder. Also own various Class 3 weapons. Just got back from "The Creek". what a gun show. Picked up a lot of goodies and had a great time. Looking forward to getting technical advice from everyone.

Old fart from Florida
Howdy all. I dug out a rifle my older brother gave me back in the very early 50's. It had been packed away since "Howdy Doodie" was popular......In any event, I thought this might be the place to find out more about it...Hope I can learn something...

I want to pay my respects to the forum!
Hello everyone and the best to all.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I go by 50of4064
I am a new collector of WWI and WW2 long rifles, I own a Springfield- M1 ( 1942 ) and am presently restoring a Remington 1903 to original ( as I can ) condition. (I have the new stock and am in need of the stock metal. )
I have been shooting for some 20 years now, and re-load for all that I shoot.
I know that there are a lot of members that will forget more then I will ever know about gun's and hope you will not tire of me asking questions.
Allow me to thank you all, for the hard work that has had to go into the making of this site.
Thank you :

New member in the GTA. I have just started my foray into milsurps. I have been shooting an SKS for the past 6 months and am in the process of getting my first Lee Enfield. I guess I will be doing a lot of reading over the next couple of weeks - great forum.
