Greetings from Central Virginia (originally from Western NY). Primary interest in Garands but do have a P38 that my uncle brought back from the war. Great sight and I know I'll learn a lot.

Hello All,
I am a member of OK Shooters and have been for over a year. I am a big "gun" enthusiast and have just got my first "war" gun. I have been doing some research online and came across this forum. I hope to make some new friends and hopefully learn a thing or to about the new piece of history I have obtained!
Thanks,
Jmiller45

SMLE's and color guards
Hello Everyone,
I am glad to be a part of this great website and forum. I am an admirer of Lee Enfields. I currently (1) in .303, (2) in .308, and (1) that was stolen from me in .308. All are or were original or restored.
My late son used the .303 for his color guard practice at home. We stripped off parts that would tear his hands up if he made a mistake, and tapped up any remaining sharp areas. After his passing, I restored his practice rifle back to its original glory. Unfortunately, the head space was bad, so it is a looker and not a shooter. I suppose this is a fitting tribute to a really cool kid.
I hope in the future, I may be honored enough to contribute to this forum. Thanks to all.

Hi guys,
Name is Tom from MA, I'm an active highpower shooter and have interests in all things Service Rifle, Garands, Springfield 1903's, Krags. Have a few projects like everyone. A 1903 I'd like to make into a replica National Match, a pre war Winchester Garand
(gonna take awhile but I have the barrel!) and several others on the list.
Tom

M28 Finn restoration
Hello milsurp members, I am very new to collecting millitary small arms. For the past 38 years I have been building muzzle loading rifles, recently I received an old Mosin Nagant on trade for some work. Thanks to this great site I have learned that it is a M28 from Finnland and that it is a rare model. I am trying to find out now if it would hurt the value if I have the bore re-lined. I would greatly appreciate any feedback on the subject of restoring this rifle.
Thank you very much, Ernie W

Hi’ I’ve been lurking for nearly a year so I guess it’s time for a first post.
My tastes are wide and varied. If it goes BANG, I like it.
Right now I’m torn between a K31
or Saiga 12.
