Lyman made front sights have a distinct profile. The rest is immaterial.

It's that profile I'm trying to compare on the 2 sights in the first post.
Just trying to verify if I may have another Lyman made sight on my hands.

Relax Guys...
I've been slammed with PM's and E-mails about Brians statement "The rest is immaterial"
He's been helpful by pointing out the obvious, that the partial finger nail milling marks.. etc have nothing to do with whether or not it's a Lyman/WRA frt sight.
It's the distinct profile found on Lyman made sights that should be used to identify them, not the milling or lack of milling scars.
Thanks for your concerns, but we're good.

Charlie

Not you Charlie, but it sounds like a bunch of gossiping old women with nothing better to do.

I think guys read an ATTACK in it.
Partly my fault,
To much long winded info posted at 2am.
Everyone needs to relax.

I think "EVERYONE" should use a little more tact when posting. There are a number of personalities on these forums, personalities that WILL work together. I'm tired of the emails and PMs about all the supposed attitude of one or another of the members. Enough is enough!

I can't speak for any of the other threads.
But as far as this one is concerned.. We're good.
Correct information was passed to me from another member who replied to my OP.
What more could I ask for?
If that isn't working together......... I don't know what is.

That's great Charlie. My post is meant more of a general statement simply because it was brought up that there were issues popping up on a couple of threads. It's all good! Thanks
